After-sales service :

Dealers provide the first level of after-sales service to their customers. Customers should contact the dealer from whom they purchased the Fenix product for warranty support by presenting an invoice or sales receipt.

Otto Klein AG provides the second level of service and warranty for Fenix products for the Swiss market only. Consumables and parallel imports are excluded.

Defects covered by the warranty will be dealt with according to the conditions listed below.

Where possible, non-warranty repairs will be quoted for prior approval. Shipping costs are not included in the processing of service and warranty cases and are to be paid by the dealer.

Warranty conditions :

Fenix lamps without rechargeable batteries: 2 years (24 months) legal warranty from the date of purchase.
Extended manufacturer’s warranty – Fenixlight Ltd – to 5 years free repairs covering manufacturing or operating defects when used as intended.
Fenix lamps with built-in batteries: 2 years (24 months) from date of purchase.
Fenix Li-Ion batteries (consumables): 1 year warranty (12 months) from date of purchase.

Defects occurring within 15 days of the date of purchase for all Fenix products :

Otto Klein SA will replace with a new product, within 15 days of purchase, for any manufacturing or functional defect related to proper use. The item must be returned in new condition and in its packaging.

The defective item will be replaced by the same item. If the model is not or no longer available, a similar item or its improved version will be offered as a replacement.

The warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by

Normal wear and tear
Non-conforming use
Damage caused directly or indirectly by the user
Leaking batteries
Defects or damage caused by improper use including, but not limited to, any use that is not in accordance with the operating instructions and information contained in the product manual.
Disassembly of any sealed or factory assembled part of a Fenix product.

The provisions of Swiss warranty law apply (Art. 210 and 371 CO).
